   The MSN-06S Sinanju Stein was developed to test the Psycho-Frame's durability and tracking capabilities. Two units of the mobile suit, known by the development codename "Stein 01", were later stolen by Neo Zeon remnants, the Sleeves.  One unit was remodeled as the MSN-06S Sinanju and used as the organization's flagship MS.  In UC 0097, the other unit participated in the battle for the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 03 Phenex and was adorned with the engravings that gave rise to the Sleeves' name.
